Goober!

For the past couple nights I keep waking up to real contractions that are kind of painful but they are like 1 then I sleep for 3 hours and wake up to another.

I haven’t had any like them during the daytime though.

I find this really weird.

Getting all hormonal.

Last night I had a strong urge to cry for no reason! I also felt overwhelmed about life after baby boy gets here. Also about how I don’t want him to grow up fast and how when he decides he likes daddy over mommy I’ll be crushed! I kind of am just getting nervous about everything.

I really want to meet my son and see how Max connects with him. I also really want to be able to move without all this extra weight and sticking out belly.

Fun Fact:
The fall was not scripted, Anne actually slipped while filming, although she started laughing they kept with the scene. The director didn’t yell cut because she waved her hand a little (what looked like when she waved at Lily to keep talking) to signal that she wanted to keep filming the shot. The editor eventually chose this shot because he felt it fit Mia’s character a lot more than the scripted shots they had.

Baby proofing?

I live in an apartment that me and boyfriend rent. The baby gate we currently have to block our dog out of the cat’s bathroom (where her litter and food is) keeps falling over really easy. It’s a pressure gate and the cat knocks it over so easy, I can’t imagine that the baby won’t be able to knock it over too.

So now we just need help to baby proof without injuring the walls and cabinet doors.

Any ideas how to baby proof without damaging things?

I got 2 nursing bras from Wal-mart today. They came together so I didn’t choose the styles. They are not that pretty. I tried them on and they don’t really keep my nipples from being seen. They have zero padding!

I also bought them in my current size so I’m a bit nervous about how they will fit after my milk comes in. But for now they are pretty good. They fit better than the bras I currently wear and they have no underwire which makes them more comfy.

If I need to I’ll buy new ones later but it’s good to have a couple now so I can put them in my hospital bag. They were pretty inexpensive at wal-mart (2 for $17.00) ^_^

My weekend.

The past two nights we have gone over to hang out at one of Max’s co-worker’s place.

The first night we played apples to apples and just hung out for a bit. The second there were a bunch of people that work with Max and one of the guy’s wife. The wife was cool and we had fun talking. Everyone but me drank. =(

At the end two single girls came and all the guys were being a bit nuts trying to flirt with them so we left cause it’s not fun watching people play drinking games and flirt when you’re 39 weeks pregnant. I was also getting really annoyed at how dirty things were getting…it wasn’t even my place but the table was so messy it drove me nuts!!

I really can’t wait to be able to enjoy nights like this better and not be asked 50 thousand times if I felt okay but drunk guys. Well it was nice they worried it was annoying too cause everyone seems to think I should be tired and uncomfortable all the time, which I’m not most of the time. It was just a really different type of night than I’m used to when I go to parties on the weekend. I miss being able to drink. lol.
